Updating the MPro150 projector’s software will take about 10 minutes and is easy to do. The instructions below will guide you through the update process.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE UPDATE
1. MPro150 projector.
2. Power Supply for the MPro150.
3. Micro SD card (2 MB or greater).
4. Computer with internet connection.
5. Upgrade files: upgrade.img and upgrade.md5.
6. MPro150 USB cable.
DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE TO YOUR COMPUTER
1. The software upgrade files are in a 84 Mb zip file that must be downloaded from 3M.
2. Click on this link or copy and paste the following address into the address bar of your web browser: MPro150 Software v1.3.2
3. When the file download dialog box appears, click Save.
4. When the Save As dialog box appears, select the computer’s Desktop. (This makes it easy to find the file after it is downloaded from 3M.)
5. You will see a file on the computer’s desktop named webmediaserver.zip.
6. Open the webmediaserver.zip file using a zip utility software.
7. When opened, you will find two files within the zip file: upgrade.img and upgrade.md5.
8. Extract this files onto the computer’s desktop.
HOW TO UPDATE THE MPRO150 SOFTWARE
1. When the upgrade is performed, all files on MPro150 may be deleted. Please back up your files before performing the upgrade.
2. Attach the power supply to the MPro150.
3. Insert the Micro SD card into the 3M MPro150 projector. Plug the projector into the USB port on your computer. Power up the projector.
4. The projector’s internal memory and the Micro SD card will appear as a removable disk on the computer. The projector will be labeled "MPro150" but the Micro SD card may not have a label. Note: If you do not see either the MPro150 or Micro SD removable disk in Windows Explorer, you must reassign the drive to a new drive letter not already used by another drive. Please refer to KB297694 on the Microsoft Support Website.
5. Open the Micro SD drive from your computer and create a folder labeled “upgrade”.
6. Copy upgrade.img and upgrade.md5 into the upgrade folder.
7. Unplug the USB cable from the Projector and Computer. Once the USB cable is unplugged, the projector will project the Home Screen.
8. From the Home screen, open the Settings Menu (gears icon).
9. Select the Upgrade (computer chip with green down arrow) icon and press ENTER.
10. Select the Yes button and press ENTER.
11. The upgrade will take about 10 minutes to complete. Do not remove the Micro SD card or power during the upgrade. This would disrupt the upgrade and the projector will no longer function.
12. The projector will automatically turn off when the upgrade is complete. After the projector turns off, it is ready to use.
